The episode starts with Bertie and Florence at the Atlantic Cafe. To them, is heard the voice of Lord Amersham, calling. Bertie and Florence go to the house where he is there waiting for them, and he has a surprise for them - he wants to stay there while they go to see Mrs. Munro. He promises to call them the same time every day. When they arrive to Mrs. Munro's house, it is very old and very dirty. Lord Amersham is going through the house and tells Bertie and Florence that Mrs. Munro is being a fool, because she is afraid of the ghosts of her parents. After the two leave the house, Lord Amersham calls them to tell them that Mrs. Munro is not a fool, and that she was just being polite. He asks them to accompany him back to Lord Amersham's house. They do, and at the end of the episode, Bertie says that he is bored because he has nothing to do.
